SUPER BOWL: NYC
JANUARY 2014
It was a quick three-day business trip in the run up to the first cold weather Super Bowl and NYC was buzzing with media, marketers and a general madness that can only come with an event like the Big Game.
Doug brought NFL client, Adam Carriker up to the Apple for a series of meetings, media and sponsor appearances in the run up to Sunday's game.
From Fox News to Nike to ESPN, it was a busy 72 hour turnaround.
2014 OLYMPICS: SOCHI

As an agency, DLE had three athletes from Team USA competing at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
Jordan Malone won a silver in the Mens 5000m Relay (short track speed skating). Tucker West dominated the Today Show, E! News and ESPN enroute to an impressive Olympic debut in the Men's Luge, while Nick Fairall had a breakout performance in the Ski Jump.
Doug spent eight days in Sochi for client support, sponsor meetings and media.
NFL COMBINE

Q1 of 2014 was non-stop for Doug and DLE. From the Super Bowl to Sochi, Doug touched down in the U.S. and was off to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, IN.
The annual gathering of NFL teams, Draft prospects, agents, managers, marketers and media was as busy as ever. From Manziel to Clowney to Michael Sam, there was no shortage of story lines running through Indy. For Doug, the Combine meant the annual NFL agent conference, followed by sponsor meetings and media.
BACK IN THE STUDIO

After a series of Sochi-based interviews for FOX earlier in the year, Doug was back in the studio throughout April, and May, with CNN.
Over the course of several weeks, Doug analyzed the legal and procedural obstacles facing the NBA in its attempt to strip embattled LA Clippers owner, Donald Sterling, of his ownership, following a leaked audio recording containing racial comments.
Doug also assessed the global PR and brand-side impact this situation might have on the league in foreign markets.
